Why Do I Do What I Do? How Searching for Meaning at Work Can Facilitate the Spread of Unethical Conduct through Organizations

They show that when employees seek meaning at work, they may become more likely to align their behaviour with unethical leaders, especially when such behaviour appears organizationally validated.
