Journal Articles
JMS is a general management journal that attaches no priority to either the subjects of study, or the methodological approach adopted, so long as they are theoretically grounded.
Here you will find articles that build upon or use different epistemological positions, research traditions and methods. The articles may also utilise different levels of analysis, including individuals, groups, organizations and the networks or societies in which organizations are embedded.
The ultimate criterion for JMS articles is that they make a strong theoretical contribution, whether this contribution is derived from empirical research or conceptual synthesis of recent advances.
The Journal of Management Studies (JMS) is published by Wiley.
Original Articles
Empirical or conceptual articles at JMS meet the highest standards of academic excellence and develop a ‘value-added’ theoretical contribution to our knowledge about behaviour within or about organizations and their environments.
Review Articles
Review Articles at JMS provide a synthesis and critical appraisal of a particular research field to develop a research agenda and/or a conceptual framework as a guide to future research.
