This paper advances a configurational perspective on top management teams (TMTs), examining how temporal faultlines and dominant subgroup temporal profiles shape time-awareness norms and firm innovativeness. Using multi-wave survey data from 209 TMTs of small- and medium-sized enterprises in Iran, the study shows how temporal differences within executive teams can foster shared norms around time management, with important implications for firm innovativeness.
