The Journal of Management Studies was delighted to hold a two-day workshop hosted by Yokohama National University, which brought together scholars to exchange ideas, build connections, and engage in meaningful discussions.
Highlights included Hannes Leroy’s session on approaches to research, a career-focused Q&A panel featuring Liqun Wei, Kyoko Fukukawa, Jesper Edman, and Rick Delbridge, as well as Christina Ahmadjian’s insightful summary of the first day’s discussions.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our local hosts and colleagues, whose support and hospitality made this event possible – especially Endo-san, Kodo-san, and Hide-san. We are also deeply appreciative of the contributions of our local mentors and former JMS editors, who worked alongside current editors to provide participants with valuable individual feedback on developing their research for publication.
Finally, we thank all participants for their engagement, thoughtful questions, and contributions throughout the workshop. We look forward to continuing these important conversations.
