Atlas Unplugged: Re-Imagining the Premises and Prospects of Capitalism

This paper examines how capitalism is conceptualised, challenged, and re-imagined in contemporary management research. The paper calls for renewed critical engagement with capitalism, questioning taken-for-granted assumptions and highlighting alternative ways of organising, governing, and valuing economic activity. It invites scholars to reconsider the foundations and future trajectories of capitalist systems in light of social, political, and environmental pressures.
