Entrepreneurial networks play a central role in venture growth and acquisition opportunities. But what about the people on the receiving end of those networking efforts? In this paper, authors examine how a contact’s intra-organizational status shapes their willingness to refer entrepreneurs within their organizations for potential acquisition.
