This paper examines how organizational crises shape job seekers’ perceptions of multinational enterprises and explores whether corporate social responsibility initiatives can mitigate the impact of negative signals. Drawing on experimental evidence, the authors show that national security threat accusations and product failure scandals significantly reduce organizational attractiveness and job pursuit intentions, while CSR efforts may have limited effectiveness in offsetting these negative perceptions.
