Vaidy Jayaraman is the director of the Supply Chain Management & Analytics program at Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas (USA), where he teaches courses in supply chain and analytics. Prior to joining UTD, he was the Global Dean of SPJSGM in Sydney, Australia and managed campuses in Sydney, Singapore, Dubai and Mumbai. He has more than 32 years of teaching experience and has taught at the undergraduate, post-graduate, PHD and Executive MBA level. This also includes teaching Executive Education – he has offered numerous workshops and training programs in Supply Chain Analytics, Operations Management, Management Sciences and Business Statistics in many countries, including the United States, Australia, Dubai, India, China and Singapore. He has received several awards in teaching and research, including the University of Miami Teaching Excellence award as well as the Professor of the Year award for his research contributions. He has co-authored three books and has published more than 100 papers. His primary research interests are in Sustainable Value Chain Analytics, Healthcare informatics, and Customer Analytics and IT Service Analytics, Outsourcing and Integration of Information & Operations. He has interacted extensively with companies in the United States, Australia, Dubai, Singapore and India and has produced several consulting reports and white papers.
