Murtaza Faruquee is an Assistant Professor in Operations Management at the University of Nottingham, UK. His current research is focused on supply chain resilience, sustainability capabilities, and humanitarian supply chains. He completed a PhD in Supply Chain from The University of Nottingham. His PhD research examined the multi-capability proactive and reactive nature of supply chain resilience at an inter-organizational level. Prior to that, he earned an MSc in Operations Management from the University of Nottingham (U.K.). He won the Nottingham Tri-campus Postgraduate Award (2020) during his PhD. He has a substantial amount of global and SME industry experience, as well as teaching experience in operations and supply chain-related modules.
