Alf Steinar Sætre

Alf Steinar Sætre is a professor at the Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.  He received his Ph.D. From the University of Texas at Austin. Alf Steinar co-founded the Norwegian Research School in Innovation (NORSI). He runs the Project in Innovation Management and Strategy (PIMS), which is an industry-funded executive program that brings in internationally leading strategy and innovation scholars and thinkers. He teaches courses in innovation and strategy. His research interests span strategy, strategic problem formulation, bringing new knowledge into organizations, generative capacity, abduction, and innovation.
